A unique short film consisting of several stories about the residents of New York. Each story conveys deep emotions and messages without words, which is especially relevant in today’s world, where viewers are tired of excessive dialogue.

Complexity &
social impact

Since this project is filmed in and around New York, focusing on the people who live here, and given that the city is home to a large population of immigrants, it reflects the complexity of life in such a diverse environment. This diversity brings forth many challenges, including issues such as racism and various psychological struggles. Sometimes, problems arise not from what they seem on the surface, nor from what we think is the cause. For instance, we may believe that a certain issue stems from one thing, but in reality, it is rooted in something entirely different.

Stop war
within yourself

The core message of Urban Hearts is “Stop the war within yourself.” We must first stop the internal conflicts within us. With so much happening in the world, and given the influence of the news and social media discussions, it often triggers inner dissatisfaction. This dissatisfaction may be wrongly directed at others or certain situations, while the true issue lies deeper within ourselves. As I mentioned, the real trigger might not be the actual problem.
